This not-to-be missed virtual training opportunity is limited to clinicians or attendees with experience in perinatal education, 支持, 或者心理健康. This workshop will be hosted as a live-remote learning via Zoom and the two-day format includes the Foundational training class on Friday, 11月4日, 2022, and the Advanced Counseling class on Friday, 11月18日, 2022. Class times are 8:30am to 4:30pm on both days. Classes will include two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Registrants must attend both the Foundational and Advanced Training. Register early as space is limited! Cost: $375 Standard 登记 登记 will close November 2.

This workshop provides the same topics as described in the Foundational Trainining (Day One-please refer to the topic section of that training), including advanced counseling techniques for the survivor.  登记 in the two-day workshop is limited to attendees who have experience in perinatal mental health, education and care for childbearing people. Registrants must attend both days; 11月4日 and 11月18日. Register early – Capacity for this tranining will be limited.

Selena Shelley, MA, LMHC, CD, LCCE
Selena Shelley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a 当 Survivors 给 Birth Approved Trainer, and Adjunct 教师 for the Department of 助产术 at 主页欢迎您大学. She has a psychotherapy and consultation practice in the Seattle area and specializes in working with pregnant and postpartum trauma survivors. Selena was trained and mentored by Penny Simkin and Phyllis Klaus, authors of the groundbreaking book 当 Survivors 给 Birth, and facilitates trainings for perinatal and reproductive health professionals - including nurses, 心理咨询师, 助产师, 助产士, 社会工作者, 医生, and sexual assault advocates. Selena has been working with pregnant, 生育, and postpartum trauma survivors for over 25 years – first as a case manager with teen parents, then as a doula and childbirth educator, and for the past 13 years as a psychotherapist and trauma consultant.
